Hi All,

I am a bit of a noob to this so please let me know if i am being down right stupid, but I have searched the threads and cant find the solution. I got my adsl line installed yesterday with the free Mega 100WR router. It works fine with USB and with LAN, but I cant seem to even detect the wireless network from my laptop (I am sitting next to the router so I don't think that it is the distance). I have checked the connection of the arial on the router and it appears to be fine. Any thoughts as to why I can't even detect a wireless network?

Thanks

ummm, i assume that the router point is on cos it has the wireless light on, and yes the wireless is enabled on my laptop

Have you taken a look at the router config
? it might be that you need to disable and then enable the wireless on the router, oh and while you are at it make sure the SSID is being broadcast.
I cant say Im a big fan of the mega 100 but it does normally work without too much hassle.

Thanks Rocket-Boy

When I checked the router I saw that I had hidden the SSID, so enabled that. I can now see the wireless point and connect to it, but when I am connected to it, it appears that there is no data moving over it...?
