Telkom 4mb uncapped faster than 4mb

So I thought I'd share my awesome problem this morning.

So I woke up and started a download, via SABNZBD, and noticed it was downloading sometimes at 785KB/s. It keeps going up and down between that maximum, and about a minimum of around 640KB/s. Normally it cruises around the 480MB/s mark, which is correct according to my account type, right?

Obviously suspicious I paused the download and did a speed test on mybroadband.





Anyone else experiencing this "problem"?

TI seem to forget to "throttle" their uncapped accounts to the listed speed often and let it run at line speed instead, same story with 4Mb Uncapped on my 6Mbps line this morning.

Yeh, my line syncs at 8MB on the router, but obviously they normally throttle it to 4MB. TI maybe giving me a long weekend prezzie Thanks TI!!

Yep pretty standard for Telkom 4mbps - but you have to have decent sync speeds.

Yeah me too, i have been having more than my 4MB speed since Thursday.
