telkom 5102g router - wireless problems

i need help. i have my pc connected to the router and dialing using raspppoe. i want to connect my laptop to the router as well and do the same. On my pc, for some strange reason it doesnt dial out when i set the ip, but it does when i leave as auto assign. But it doesnt want to auto assign an ip to my laptop, but it connects when i do it manually, but then the network doesnt work and i cant dial out.

Are you running windows 2000? Why are you using ras?

using ras so i can have 2 dial up connections at the same time. xp's pppoe doesnt allow that.
but thats not the problem, i cant even get thhat far. the router doesnt want to auto assign ips over wifi

Sorry bro, if I was there in front of the thing I could've figured it out, maybe someone else has one, why did you go for a telscum router?!!!!!!

my billion 7202gr2 is on the way. Was delivered on friday from digital planet, should be arriving soon. My dad went to the telkom shop and was tricked into the contract. So now im stuck with this telkom router. Anyone wanna buy?
