Telkom 5102G Wireless Connection

I have an LG LS50a Laptop and a Telkom 5102G ADSL Router and the wireless signal dosen't seem to go very far, my router is located in my office about 55 meters away from my bedroom and the signal strength is so low that it looses its connection, is there any way to resolve this

Unfortunatly I am not able to relocate my router.

First of all - Why cant you relocate your router? Even moving it around the room its in might help.

Try to get a bigber anntena to strength the signal.

I have similar problem with Billion 5012G router I connect my laptop HP NX6110
I have excellent reception but my WiFi connection disconnects after every 8 to 10 minutes then I have to refresh to get connection.
Any idea why?
Is the any settings I must change ?
Where must I look router or laptop?
