Is anybody on the Telkom 5G package yet?

I have existing contract and do not pick up 5G in Westrand. Not sure if sim need to be provisioned?

Without anybody to confirm how all this is going to work... we can only assume then they going the Rain route.
With only a 5G sim being able to connect to the 5G network.
Rain's 5G sims also do not connect to the 4G network.

That's a no from me. In Roodepoort where there is MTN 5G.
But not sure if Telkom need to activate anything on the sim maybe.

Telkom 5G not availible for mobile phones yet...
So I think it's like Rain's setup. 5G only, no 4G fail back. So you likely need a specific sim. They don't just activate our existing ones.

See they updated their coverage map to include 5G, but I still don't have access on my phone
