Telkom Acceptable time?

What is considered an exceptable time for Telkom to make a house call to fix a line fault? I reported a fault on Tuesday and they still have not appeared
 
I think you should remember that you are dealing with Telkom here. That said, I would stay on there backs and keep asking for feedback.

Did they give you a Ref. No. when you logged the fault?? If they did I would think you can ask for feedback on that Ref. No. :erm:
 
Last year when my line went down Telkom took about a week to fix it.
 
If Telkom is your ISP throw your toys. If you have another ISP get them to log a fault for you because they normally follow up for you on faults.
In general I estimate 1 week is normal turnaround time for a fault to be check out if they find it.
Depending on how your line is acting you can possibly fix it your self...
Phone them to reset the port. If theres noise on your telephone line get a new pots etc
