Hi
One of my clients are having difficulties downloading files from FTP site. It's to update their LAW-programs running on their machines. It downloads alot of files, 50-100-350 to update. Some of the files are small, under 500kb, and some is over 1mb. Whenever it gets to the larger files, the connection times-out.
Now, I've tried everything.
Change from SAIX backbone to IS. Diffrent ISP's.
Change the FTP site from one server to another site.
Phoned telkom to check my line. No problems.
Web surfing + Email = Working FINE!
Today, I've even replaced the router with a brand-new one from Telscum.
The funny thing is, when I download the files from my home, about 2km away from office, also on ADSL, on my Netgear router, everything is working.
I've even plugged my Netgear router into their network, just to test it, and it worked !
So, it must be their Router. But, if I replaced the old router with a new one, it should have fixed the problem.
Only hope is to get credit for the ADSL modem, and replace it with a Netgear one myself.
Anyone had the same problem before ?
Ciao
