telkom adsl and imap4

Im just setting up my new funky Nokia e61i to use my wireless connection at home and am setting up the emal on it. I have a standard Telkom 3GB adsl account and usualy pop my mail on my pc but am trying to set up imap4 on the phone and getting an error (very descriptive "unable to connect to server") although am browsing and downloading fine. Do the Telkom mail servers support imap4 as a protocol or only pop3??

Incidentaly, when I set it up to pop mail it works fine so Im guessing its an imap thing
