telkom adsl and limewire.

hi all,

does anybody know if telkomsa.net disallows p2p connections. i have just changed to telkom (beginning to think a mistake) and i can't search and/or download using limewire????

Telkom don't block p2p. Check that your ports are open.

I think they are throttling those ports down so badly though! Yesterday I was getting a whopping 3KBps on my 384 line!! Eventually I gave up. Might be better at night, I havent tried. But I am pretty sure they dont allow full speeds on the limewire port during the day at least. Although they used to
