Telkom ADSL dropping connx

I have had a Telkom ADSL line for several years now. Lately (last 3 or 4 months) my ADSL line drops my internet connection, and takes some 1 - 3 minutes to reconnect itself. This happens about every 30 minutes. It is extremely irritating. It almost started happening since when I received a new wireless router/modem from Telkom - so Im not sure if its the router/modem, or the Telkom line. The new router/modem is called a MEGA 105WR.

Okay, all sorted out - it seems. Phone Telkom, and....yes, had to wait with the phone glued to my ear for 45 minutes. But when the operator finally came on the line, all he did was "reset my port", and since then my ADSL has not given the familiar connection burp every 20 - 30 minutes. It was very frustrating, I would be in the middle of downloading a large file, and Telkom would do a freeze, and reconnect.

Same modem same problem dude i am new to adsl thougth its my line but thanks for telling me getting new modem asap been looking for the cause of the problem now for long cause they tested my line said nothing wrong .

will ask them to reset ports too.
