Went to the Telkom Direct shop on Wednesday after lunch

Friday morning notification of ADSL activation came through. ( self install )

Reading the tragic stories here at this place I thought that it was three YEARS

Connections, friends and family!!!

But, back to your experience.... not a bad effort by Telkom. That should be the norm with the goal to get it down to 24 hours and then 12 hours and then 6 hours!!!

Mine was also fast, the only delay was an admin issue on their PCs with my account but the staff pulled finger to get it resolved.

Guys miracles do happen. I applied some time ago on a Thursday afternoon and was told it will take a few days. Friday morning at about 11h00 i received an sms stating that the line was active. Did a self install and yip it worked.

Mine took 3 days. In fact Telkom activated my line faster than Take2 could deliver my router.
