TELKOM ADSL LINE UPGRADE

Hi Guys,

I was hoping someone could give me some insight into the following questions.

1) I recent phoned Telkom to upgrade my line from 2mb/s to 10mb/s. How long (on average) does this take. They says 48 hours, but its now 5 days later.

Call them again, I did it a year or so back and it took a day.

For me it was instant. Called them, they did something, told me to switch off and on router, and the upgrade was complete.

You kidding me. They keep telling me that a technician needs to change something on the 'exchange box'.

That could be true, especially if there are multiple DSLAMs in your exchange.
