Hi all, I hope that I'm posting in the correct section.

Here goes, I have the Telkom Do2 package and all worked well through my Belkin Wireless G router. I also have a Openweb package and I tried to change the ISP settings on the router to make sure that the Openweb settings worked. After rebooting the router and changing the username and password, I can not get any connection. I have reported the line and Telkom tells me that the line is fine.

I have since tried to go back to my Do2 settings and that doesn't work either. The little web light just do not want to come on.

Do you think that the router has gone bad or what other problem might I be missing?

Thanx

What are your VPI/VCI and Mux settings?

Any other thoughts?

I'm at the point where I'm thinking of buying a new router, any suggestions?

How do I do that, sorry for asking but I'm totally new at this!

Log into ze routar and check its status page, don't have a belkin so can't say as to where it would be

Just Create a bridge connection like how u would create a dial up connection, only choose broadband connection and enter ur username and password and all will work well...

Im using that method at home... its easier than setting up the router everytime i need to swap an account...

Thanx for all the help, I have bought a new Netgear router and everything is working through my Do2 Telkom account, but still can't access through the Openweb account. Do anyone know if Openweb uses other settings than Telkom?

Openweb is a terrible ISP, i think u need to switch to either Webafrica or Axxess
