Telkom ADSL Router

Hi All,

I am uncertain if this is the right place for this post, but here goes.
I recently started a new job, and was given the task of setting up an office server on the adsl connection. I wanted to setup port forwards on the router to the server. However the routers web interface was taking up port 80. When I tried to change this I somehow totally lost access to the router, and could no longer get in on the port I had specified.

So to get around this I reset the router by holding its reset button in.
But now It does not have its ADSL account setup right.
The account is not with Telkom, but with another ISP.
This is the plain white sort of router with Telkom branding all over it, however its management interface does not have telkom branding like I have seen on other telkom routers.

Its side configuration has bullets that animate through a dreadful array of colours.

Now my question is does anybody know how to configure this router or where I can find info. My work is now without net and they gonna kill me fast if I dont get it working soon.

Can anyone help ?

Sounds like one of the first Marconi POTS routers. I have one lying in a cupboard here - will hook it up and give you the steps.

Of course step 1 _should_ be to throw it out the nearest window .

Ah well, hooked the thing up but my laptop's being full of sh*t so I've given up.

You must not be using Loreal cos you're just not worth it

First suggestion to your new bosses: Tell them to get a router that works!
