Telkom Adsl Self Install problem

I am trying to setup my D-link 2750U. Using the CD provided with the modem, I managed to pass the test between the pc and the modem and the adsl sync test. The last test where it tests the Internet connection keeps on failing.

I've went to 10.0.0.2 and done the setup wizard thing (used the guest login details) but I still get a failed Internet connection test.

Can someone please assist with rectifying this problem without me having to phone Telkom?

I seem to be following the instructions correctly. I have applied for an adsl line and data option with Telkom and have received the order number. So I think we can rule out my line not being adsl enabled.

Could it possibly be a fault of the computer?

An order number doesn't mean the order has been fulfilled yet...
 
Login to the router and post the info you see....specifically the page showing the current sync and the one showing the ADSL stats (SNR, attenuation etc)
 
Never use the CD or the wizard, just do everything manually , are the settings correct:

VPI: 8
VCI: 35

Multiplexing: LLC Based.
