I phoned 10219 and requested for my line to be upgraded to Telkom ADSL but there is no ports available :( at the DSLAM. They say I must wait a month :( :( :mad: to see if someone stopped their service. Then they will decide if they must add another port. Is there a better number that will like get me through to management? Thanx in advance.
 
Did they at least give you a ref number?

If not, phone again and insist on a ref number. If there are no outstanding order refs for that DSLAM then Telkom will never upgrade it.
 
Have a ref number. Will it reaaly help if iI go to a Telkom Direct?
 
Apply on behalf of all your neighbours who don't have ADSL, and get ref numbers for them too. :-)
 
Not feasable to install a mini DSLAM. Telscum can go suck my mother's.........
