Telkom ADSL supported in my area?

Hi, I went to the Telkom site and entered the phone number in Uitenhage where I will be staying to see if they support DSL. Whenever I put in the phone number, I get this in return:

The requested service is currently unavailable, please try again later

What a poorly formed message. I can't tell if that means their database is having a problem and I should try later, or if it means that number is not supported for DSL service and I should try again in a year. Does anyone here know? Thanks.

Database problem I think. If it's not available it will tell you the local exchange doesn't support it yet (and give you the expected rollout date) or tell you it does and you can order it. Try again later or maybe tomorrow.
