Telkom alternatives

I truly dread dealing with Telkom but there is no better deal around. There is Iburst, 3g, Sentech.. etc.. but they don't have a better deal when it comes to price and stability. I look forward to the day where I can get a better deal and avoid dealing with them permanently. I would like to have a phone that has nothing to do with Telkom and broadband from some one else. For now I'm stuck with them.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Is there anything around that is a better or equal deal than Telkom with broadband and normal phone calls?

Sorry bro, but telscum is the cheapest if you work it out etc. Most times, I've learned what causes of their malfunctioning's are. This forum helps a lot too. Most people tend to phone them for the slightest thing, I was like that once, but stuff that.

Patience though, telecommunication's are changing fast

Well if you live in the Helderberg area you could use Helderberg Wireless.
I think they are brilliant , no downtime and not bad prices.

Maybe it's a good idea to try a WISP... anybody have experience in this field?
