Telkom ADSL Uncapped Users your days are getting shorter concerning your daily downloads . Telkom stated that that they buy bandwith for all their uncapped users : so if you download 90gig round about the 20th of any month and they check your usage then they decide that is enough for the month than they start throttling you and maybe you lucky to get a 100gig next month due to, they say you uncapped users makes it difficult for other users to use the internet to their extend. It's just a pity that one can't throttle the payment for Telkom ,they will disconnect you for the next month.:mad:

Who downloads in excess of 10Gigs a month. I'm on Telkom uncapped and average 4Gig.

20Mb line, 1080p Youtube, Steam downloads, PSN, Netflix, all manner of other things, Reddit...

You with Telkom?

Yep, Telkom Internet on their Home Unlimited account.

Still struggling with the mobile data thing though. That's never worked. January was also particularly trying because of how frequently the exchange was disconnecting everyone because of faulty hardware.

Telkom's FUP also only throttles you during peak hours. They also offer 2 priority passes a month which unshapes you for an hour if you have hit your FUP.

You're not even close to the FUP, you disappoint :D

It was more in November-Dec with average usage of 650GB, but January was just so ****. On track for 600GB again this month.

And most of this is streaming video, which is crazy.
