Telkom and Openweb.

well. i tried to post evidence on the forum the day before yesterday that completely proves my innocence in the matter, but then i recieved a 24 hour ban for it.

Iv'e given up saying anymore on the matter.

However, i will make sure to never say a single good word about openweb from now on. they will continue to lose customers because of me, they deserve that much. I have posted on a number of S.A boards and i myself I run a public forum and we are in the process of launching a MMORPG server here in S.A. ( http://www.roseza.co.za )

They have screwd over the worst possible person they could screw over, i am not just a geek behind a pc at home, this is one mistake that wont easily go away. I will make sure i am personaly responsible for a lot of business lost on their part.

Today is a week that has gone by, i still have no apology, not recieved any email or phone calls to even try to resolve the issue, nothing.

7 days and nothing ...

cant be banned for saying the truth. every post i make you and gary are the first to post directly below that. you have insulted me, called me a liar, accused me of stealing ( what i was stealing i have no idea ). accused me of abusing bandwidth ( dont know how you worked that out unless you have my usage logs with you. ). I have yet to see any evidence for any of your acusations.

they have terms on their website ?
I didnt sign up via the website.

i didnt activate the account. i was sent login username and password via Mybb PM.

no terms, no agreement were presented. no apology was given.

No my friend, if there was any justice on this board you guys would have been banned and openweb would be out of business ...

Why would you look at the number of posts? Surely you would look at views. Of which there are almost 500. and thats not the only forum that you should look at. Thriel has posted on a few forums and they all have loads of views.

Trust me if Openweb lost 500 users that would be a huge loss. I'm not saying they did, but they definitely lots some.

Simply because taking the time to respond to a post on a forum shows a much higher degree of agreement or disagreement to a statement than clicking on a link & glancing at a page... In my view, anyway.

lol, i made you click on the link and go all the way to my thread too look and the topic didnt even interest you, yet you made the effort. and not only that i did it 500 times to 500 other people, that is 500 views in 4 days ( topic was only posted on monday, today is thursday) . imagine how many it would be in a months time ? and i posted on other forums too.

you tell me this hasnt cost them dearly ?

there is a price to pay for ignorance, they had an opertunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

to post on the forum they would first have to register, you cant expect people to do that just to reply to one topic. my aim was simply to make people aware of what happened to me and what could happen to them. and that much is accomplished with a simple glance at the link in my signature.

The fact that they have not done so indicates very strongly that they do not believe they were in the wrong. I have personally spoken to Keoma and he gave me a completely different version of events to what this guy is whining about. They were very gracious to offer a 50% discount on the next month, but the OP has refused even that.

It is our opinion now that he got into a deal which he could not afford and is hoping that if he screams and cries loud enough he will bully the company into giving him a full refund, despite the fact that he used 6 days of uncapped internet.

Ain't gonna happen... not in this life and not in the next.

You made a mistake, grow up and deal with it.

What speaks much louder than 500 views is the actions and behaviour of a spoiled little child who is used to getting his own way whenever he pitches a tantrum... and we certainly have seen enough of that in the several threads he has started.

thriel you are going to run yourself into the ground, sure you have better things to do than to go about your day on how you can note that ow has ****ed you. maybe it is time to give it a rest, go make a permanent post about this in detail on your roza page or whot not, don't refer OW anymore and be done with it.

firstly, if they believe they are not wrong then where are they ? why not reply, why not respond, why not investigate, surely if a customer is unhappy with something it is the companies duty to investigate the matter and make sure that it does not get repeated in future ?

Have you even tried to get through to openweb via telephone ? have you sent them an email and you can tell us how long they took to respond ?

They offered me a 50% discount yes, but they waited to the day that i called to cancel my account.

I am sorry but i am not paying them money that is firstly not due to them, and secondly for more digusting service.

they arent saying anything because they cant say anything.

People who say it's fine for a company to rob you blind of money for just a few days are the reason our internet is so damned expensive. You're just willing to put up with it and pay the bills.

Would YOU do that? Would you be surprised if you didn't end up with exactly what you thought you'd get? Parting with a substantial sum of money without ensuring that you understand exactly what you're buying is irresponsible. It's not the company's (ANY company's) responsibility to educate its clients.
