yes! we do not have the privileges of local content : Why ??

because nobody can afford to provide local content.

So who fcuked it up ?? Telkom.

Exhorbitant fixed line costs make sure that local content will never be anything but ananzi and on-line bonking.

I am sure that the would have been a lot more local content if ADSL was dependable and offered fixed IP adresses which would have allowed more people to do web site hosting themselves.

Telkom is feeding the monster of International Bandwidth cost by charging rediculous local rates.

No sane SMME owner would consider hosting in SA given the local bandwidth prices compared to what is available elsewhere. Unless there are very special reasons for doing so.

Local 30c per MByte and worse.
