On Monday, 17 Feb my ADSL line went down. After performing various tests to ensure that the fault was in fact the line and not my ISP or ADSL router, I called Telkom to log a fault.
Long story short, so as not to bore you with too many details, the following morning at 7:22 I was told they would be sending a technician. I'm still waiting.
Today, I get a call from Telkom asking if I'm still having problems to which I answered yes, explaining that the problem was with my ADSL line. They told me they would send out someone today if possible. No one arrived.
At just after 5:30 PM, I get an SMS saying that my issue was resolved. How could it have been resolved if no one turned up to fix it? :erm:
I can't believe they would close a fault ticket without even consulting me first. :wtf:
So that's the short version of my unending frustration with Telkom. In makes this suggestion, I did PM TelkomZA at around 1:30PM on the 19th, but I haven't received a reply.
