Telkom Bill Date moved Forward

Hi,

Anyone else notice that Telkoms Bill For Jan is due on the 31st Jan. Not a week into Feb as normal.

Look at Decembers Bill, It was due the first week in Jan.

Mine says, "Please pay on or before 3 Feb 06"

mine was as usual, 19-20 of Jan, I think they depend on the date you ended up with a phone installed, this way they spread their bills throughout the month rather than jam themselves with all bills in a few days

They work on bill cycles (A-H) Each specific area is assigned a certain cycle. As far as I know the only way to change this is to call their wonderful accts dept. unless they have changed your whole area's bill cycle from one to another.

i've changed my billing date a few times during the past 10 months... my payment used to be due on the 1st or 2nd of the month - now it's due only on the 14th. i haven't gained anything from telkom by doing this, but i don't pay transaction fees on my credit card coz it is always in credit
