I ordered a new line in November which was installed in December, then proceeded to order ADSL, which was activated on the 17th incorrectly as a 384kB line. After many calls, 9 days later it was corrected to 4096MB/s.
I haven't been asked for any billing address details, and had to phone to get my account number.
After obtaining my account number I registered on the Telkom Website, linked the account and set it to email me my invoice and to view it online.There are no invoices available to view there even though I received a voice SMS yesterday evening telling me an invoice was made available online for me.
So far I haven't received a bill from Telkom. Should I be worried? I really do not feel like sitting on the phone again. I'm worried because 6 years ago I had a similar issue with my previous house and they cut me off and wanted to charge me reconnection fees for which I almost got black listed for refusing to pay.
