I have a 384 package from Telkom that, for the past 6 months has been quite reliable. However, since 9 days ago we have been without adsl (no syncing). After speaking to person called Simon at TELKOM, he says that there was a massive ADSL cable theft in Fourways, and its a general problem in the area.
Now that smells fishy since my neighbour's 4mb/s connection is fine (and that they don't lay new "ADSL" cables when installing).
What must I do to go past all the lies and get someone, from somewhere, to help me out?
I am even considering a different ISP now, for the same price more or less.
I'm getting desperate.
