Telkom cant get an order right

So I ordered a 10Mbs ADSL fixed line from Telkom 2 months ago , and to this day they still have not processed the order. When I call the sale team they say they are waiting for a number to be allocated so that they can arrange a technician. I spoke to them on messenger and they tell me a different story, apparently the my exchange does not support 10Mbs and I will need to wait until they upgrade the exchange..... This is totally BS simply because 3 months ago I had 20Mbs from the same exchange 200m away from me.


The reason I canceled the 20Mbs was because .....yes you guessed it , some idiot did not get the billing correct and I was paying around R2k for 20Mbs Uncapped. I put in a dispute and canceled the line , hoping that they will get it right the second time around with the 10Mbs.... My Bad should have known this is Telkom I’m dealing with.

I hate Telkom ..... Anyone know someone who can help??

Mobile data for the kids projects is killing me.

I put in a request to upgrade my line to 10Mbs last Tuesday, now every time I call them on 10213 to find out why it still has not been upgraded I am told that their services are offline. Phoned Thursday, Friday and today. "Sorry sir but our systems are offline, can you try again in two hours?" Seems I need to try again in about two months.

If I was Sipho Maseko I would be ashamed to be the CEO of Telkom and to have collected R27 million payday.

He is a state-owned pos. He is allowed to collect whatever he wants, regardless of the creaky performance of the company.

4 Weeks ago I put through a line move request via their website. This was never captured so a week later I find this out when I phoned them. Now I am still waiting for these useless pos of a company to do the line move
 
So i managed to get hold of a manager at the customer complaints department, he asked me to send him an email with all the details and messages, let’s see what happens :) I bet F**K All will be done as usual.

My experience so far was that I wanted to upgrade from 20Mbps SoftCap Fibre to Home Unlimited on the 13th Aug. The order numbers were sent to me the following day on the 14th after applying on the website.
The 16th Aug arrived and I phoned again as to find out what the status of the order would be as it seemed rather straightforward to just switch an ISP account to uncapped as the line was already installed and working

I was told each and every time when I phoned 10213 from the 16th Aug up to today (22 Aug ) "Our systems are offline, I cannot pull up your order or profile phone back in 2 Hrs" :mad:
The online chat service simply told me to phone 10213.
