Is there anyway of checking usage on a Telkom capped account?

Second thing:

Once you have reached your allocated CAP is the account suspended or do they just charge you per gig etc that is used over your CAP?

You are "soft-capped" meaning that normal browsing is OK but downloading, streaming etc is shaped out of existence and unusable, you will not be billed for soft-cap data. I've heard that NightSurfer still works for downloading when soft-capped but can't confirm this.
