As most of you will be aware, there was some problems with international ADSL access the whole of yesterday...which now seems to be fixed (working via Datapro as ISP) but now something seems to have changed. Whenever I run a test script to test ports for p2p I now receive and error:
Checking port 12345 on 196.25.255.195...
Warning! Port 12345 can not be checked. Your browser is setup to connect through a proxy. This script will not work through proxied connections.
Where the 196.x.y.z is obviously part of the Telkom network. This has always worked for the past 3 months but not since yesterday. (My browser does not have Proxy setting filled in!)... is anyone out there also experiencing the same? My ISP confirms they are not running us through a proxy..
The result is now 2k/sec downloads...and timeouts. Browsing is still fine.
