Yes they do - you setup the recipient sims as a multi-sim with the contract being the parent
Assumption here is that you don't want to send data to the prepaid, you want the prepaid to use the contracts' data at the sametime? Drawback i had with multi-sim is that you couldn't accurately see the data usage split between the contract and the prepaid
So how do i go about setting up my prepaid sim to multi-sim
Try the USSD menu using your contract sim:
dial *180#
then type #
then choose option 7 (transfer)
then choose option 2 (data)
then follow the prompts . . .
NOTE: the above should work if your prepaid sim is also on the smart broadband wireless prepaid tariff plan

For multi-sim you have to get in touch with them (either online or in a store) for them to do the setup for you

I just wish it was possible to have multi sim / data share on the 1Tb deal

you can share max 1GB per day and 10GB per month to a prepaid sim

as far as i know i think the person you want to transfer must be on the same prepaid plan as you
I am on contract and i want to share data to a prepaid sim

yes i am on the 1TB plan and the person i send to has the smartbroadband loaded on their prepaid option
Is your prepaid sim on the smart broadband wireless tariff plan ?
The donor sim and recipient sim need to be on the same tariff plans.

Firstly, some bundles are special and cannot be transferred: 1 TB, night data, data that already has been transferred, uncapped, campaign and social.
All network bundles can be sent to any Telkom Sim.
Smart broadband bundles can be sent to any smart broadband sim. I've recently sent from contract to prepaid and from prepaid to contract.

As Tim said, the prepaid SIM must be on the Smartbroadband Wireless tarriff plan which can also be set in the *180# menu by selecting the "Tarriff Change" option.
The per minute call rate is much higher on Smartbroadband Wireless than an the SIM Sonke plan however.
It's the same ~R2 per minute as the Telkom More plan, but without the bonus airtime when you recharge.
