Telkom DNS Issues

Hi All

Last night my connection sorta went. Modem says it is still connected but DNS is not working at all. I thought it might be my cap, but I can't even access local, or www.telkom.co.za or www.telkomsa.net, which I'm usualy able to access if I've hit my cap.

Anyone else having issues. I'm in the Table View area in Cape Town. My mothers mweb internet is working fine in the main house (I'm in granny flat, seperate line).

Had a client in Sea Point a couple of days ago - exactly the same story.
I don't have the DNS server addresses on hand atm, but they're available on the TI/SAIX website.

Maybe try open dns: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
You might need to change settings in your router to use the new settings

Ahhh that's right - client used those OpenDNS IPs aswell - just put them into your DNS server address for either the router through the router config, or your LAN/Wireless Connection on the computer itself.
