Telkom Do Premium 24 month contract or not ?

Can anyone please explain why the Do Premium package at R699 is advertised as a month to month contract but the telkom phone salesman insists that it is a 24month contract? The website clearly states that if you want a free wifi router you have to take the 24 month contract. I dont want a 24 month contract and dont need the router... The salesman just said its a 24month contract only ??? is the R699 package price not available to a month to month contract??? I see people on the forum complaining about the phone salesman doing exactly that to them and if they hang up and phone again then you get a salesman who says it can be done on a month to month contract.... Please clarify this if anyone knows? posted this to fb page also
