Telkom down again

Hi all, anyone else having telkom outages?

This is in Lynnwood Pretoria,

Through my backup line, I see I cannot even open the Telkom webpage. telkom.co.za

Anyone else aware of a problem?

So I have concluded that the issue is with the Aztec modems telkom supplies, you have to reconnect manually the whole time, or reset your modem and start over, but every hour or so

Those Aztec modems/routers are the worst! I've replaced 8 in the last 2 days at various clients in and around Cape Town, and while Telkom has acknowledged the problem, there is no solution, and the problem has been going on for a long time, it's not new.
You would think that a Company of Telkom's reported stature (which we all know is BS) would get their ducks in a row.
