Telkom DSL 4Mbps - username=512k???

Whats with my login name being @dsl512telkomsa.net when I have 4Mbps line? Or was that domain a doff Telkom short sightedness? BTW the account behaves like a 512k account, hence i am going back to verizon soon.

Ok, so it's probably just the regular telkom performance... I haven't had true 4Mbps since leaving Verizon... I'll be back!

On local 4Mbps is achievable for me. It's more touch and go with international.

I get 57KBps download from SAIX ftp...
I used to get 115KBps on Verizon from IS FTP
