i dont think its possible to keep your telkom email account if you change your isp , i would use services such as gmail , yahoo etc instead of using a isp provided email address

im not able to change my Email Due to my buissness i will be keeping my Dial-up account though.

That sounds like a way to keep a customer hooked in - through 'free' e-mail.

I thought dial-up had died when ADSL became affordable. I didn't know it was possible to have them on the same line?

It is possible to keep your TELKOM mailbox. Give them or call, or send an email to their support desk. Their call centre drones may just say that it;s not possible. They charged me something like R12p/m a few years ago to keep my mailbox active when I changed ISP's. I have since completely migrated to Gmail.

Edit: Just checked - the option is still offered for R15.69 p/m for a mailbox only (no ISP service). Go to http://www.telkomsa.net/ - click on our products >> mail solutions

If you play COD4 locally, then shaped vs unshaped, will make no difference. Most local Skype users get by on shaped.
