I got a Duoplus 300+ router from Telkom when I eventually got my ADSL line. Works fine with the yellow Ethernet cable on my laptop and desktop pc. However I cant get it to connect through wifi to my laptop or my phone.
My phone and laptop connect like clockwork to the Linksys router at work like clockwork. There has never been an issue. So I don't think lies there. What both the phone and laptop do is see the home wireless network. both have the little wifi icon but with a padlock and both say WPA secured but the phone is always connecting and disconnecting and the laptop does nothing. Even the wifi LED is on. I physically try to connect through network connections it asks for a password. I put in the password and it attempts to connect then says there is no wifi connection available. I have phoned Telkom twice about this. Been through all the settings, tried a few tricks and still no luck.
anyone know what the problem could be?
