Telkom Email using Outlook and other ISP's

Hi

I want to get an uncapped package from another ISP, i have a telkom 384kb Line.

The problem is I cannot access (aka send or receive) my @telkomsa.net email account through outlook when i change ISP's username and password in my router setup.

Yes, @telkomsa.net is a lame account and yes i do use gmail aswell

Is the problem with Telkom or just an outlook setting that need to be changed?

Can anyone help?

You need to set up the account in Outlook. Look under options there should be an email setting which will allow you to set up a new account or change an existing one.

If I understand you correctly, you can keep your telkom email account by paying them R15 something a month and then when you cancel telkom as your ISP and switch to another ISP you will be able to send and receive email against your existing telkom email address.

That's exactly what I did.
