Telkom esim setup on Moto G35

Good day, I want to activate the esim function on the moto g35 and use the tray sim for either Vodacom or Mtn, since Telkom struggles when I am in rural areas. Got the QR code from Smartcall but with the phone connected to wifi, if I use the scanner on the phone, I get the message no apps found and then in play store a number of suggested apps are displayed, but I dont think they are the correct ones to use. What am I doing wrong, any help would be appreciated.

In phone settings there is "add esim" option if the phone supports esim.
