A few hours after reading that post about Telkom employees vandalizing boxes, my own exchange went down with no dial tone/DSLAM connects but can't connect further or sign-on to any ISP. Called Telkom up today and they said the whole area was down with an exchange fault. Now the exchange failing in the same period as a strike could just be pure coincidence, but I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems to this?
