So the last week or so my line has been really crappy, ADSL syncing at only 1mbps and the phone quality is terrible (static/ crackling sounds).
I logged a fault via Telkom's online fault logging service, within an hour I received a text message that the fault had been restored even though they did nothing.
So I logged another fault, heard nothing for a day, then this morning I get a phone call from Telkom to ask if the issue has been fixed? I tell them of course no, they haven't done anything, the lady asks for a few details on the problem then informs me she's gonna arrange for a technician. Cool. 20 minutes later and I again get a text message telling me the fault is restored!
At this point I'm not sure if a techy is actually gonna pitch still or what.. something seems broken somewhere.
