Telkom installed 'overhead' fibre on their existing poles in my backyard about 2 weeks ago.

There is a new black junction box on the pole. Is this where they do the splicing to connect to the house?

How do they get from the pole into your house?

Underground ducting? What size and type?

Reason I am asking is that I am renovating and would like to save time when the fibre becomes available and get the ducting ready.

thanks

You can either trench a path for them to take to the desired place you want it to terminate, or allow them to do a ghetto job.

on my inlaws installation they just ran the fibre in overhead, same as the copper had been done before.
