If Fibre is symmetrical - why does my Telkom Fibre 10Mbps line consistently give me 8Mbps download and 1.8Mbps upload?

Surely I should get 10Mbps (or around there) and 10Mbps upload?

Are you testing with a cabled device? Maybe log a ticket with them?

I might be wrong, but Openserve is not symmetrical on all speeds:
10 - 10
20 - 20
50 - 25
100 - 50
200 - 100

That's correct, not sure if they've implemented symmetrical for 10&20 users yet as it was announced not so long ago.

EDIT: Just checked and I have no been upgraded to symmetrical, still at 2:1 ratio here.

Is Telkom your isp? Some isps on openserve have their uploads pegged at a lower speed.

Were you on DSL before with the same Telkom login details & enabled prioritisation in their portal?
