Telkom Fibre Throttle 6pm-10pm?

So I've noticed that mainly during 6pm-10pm it seems I get throttled, not so its bad, but from a 40mbps connection down to max of 7mbps. The weird thing is whenever I reset my router it seems to go back up to 40mbps, is this maybe a router issue ? since I know the Huawei router they give you is terrible

99% it's the router, had the same issue, but at different times of the day, swapped the Huawei out with a old TP-Link and whoala!

Thanks, I have a Billion and will give that a try. Must I just enter the account details into it?
