Does the Telkom FreeMe Boost bundle offer WhatsApp video calling in it's social media data or will it use the all net data?

It used my all net data, but I haven't used the video calling function in a year, so it might have changed.

How did you test that?

Over Christmas, when away from WiFi I'm planning on a fair bit of WA Video Calling- I'll keep an eye on which data is used.

I'd assume it'd be the "Social Media" data though...

Use *101# to get the balances, make a call for a minute, dial the code again and compare.

It just says calling and messaging, unsure if video calling would count under it. Have no one to call on WhatsApp currently for me to test.

Can you load more than one Freeme boost bundle within a month?
ie: I buy the 1GB package which is valid for 31 days. I finish the data on day 20.
On day 20, can I purchase another 1GB freeme boost package?

If u use telkom freeme only on the Telkom network, then u get free whatsapp.. If u roam on mtn all data comes out from the all network data

Interesting, thanks for the heads up. Haven't had any road trips yet where I haven't had Telkom coverage, they seem to be improving in a lot of places.
