i'm doing family tech support -- my father-in-law's internet service has issues and I want to try and reset the router. He has Telkom ISP's 40.20 Mbps FTTH service.
The only problem is that he doesn't have his TelkomSA's access username and password (i.e that you punch into the router as PPPoE details). We can log into the TelkomSA customer portal (https://customerportal.telkomsa.net/portal/overview/) but I can't really find a place where I can view/reset the PPPoE details.
We tried phoning 10210 but it doesn't seem as if they're open on a Friday evening. I even tried sending an SMS to 012 321 0215 (as per http://www.telkomsa.net/support/telkom-router-reset.pdf) but got an SMS back saying that his number is linked to more than one Telkom account and I should phone 10210.
Does anybody know
a) what the format is (I doubt that it is the same username as his login into the Customer portal, right?)
b) where I can find/reset it online -- if possible?
Otherwise I guess we'll have to phone them tomorrow.
