Hello,

I'm set to receive FTTH soon(ish) and I'm a current Vox customer. I'd like to take out a 100Mbs line order with them and i'd like to hear your general experiences with them if you have any and possibly answer my questions:

I have a Fat Pipe promotional account currently and I'd like to know if I may keep this account and just order the line on it's own (works out a bit cheaper for me)

Can I use my own mikrotik router with the provided modem? do I even need the modem or does the connected terminate to a CAT interface so I can just plug it into the WAN port?

Should I consider someone else for the order? If so, please elaborate as to why.

Thanks!

Vox has a great product and it's hard to beat what they offer. The only thing is the fatpipe that you have with your dsl does not work on the ftth products, and it comes with it's own fatpipe bundle, usually included with the provider, weather it's vuma, fiberhoods, etc you usually deal directly with the isp and should not cost that much more.

You should be able to use your mikrotik as they hand you off a Ethernet connection, as far i can recall as long as the mikrotik can do pppoe, which i know it can, then you should be good to go.

been using vox myself even tho it's adsl and its a great product you cant go wrong!
