Hi,

Anyone experiencing pathetic service from the Telkom help desk? Friday 16/01 was busy on the line for 4 hours either on hold or been shunted from one department to another. Today 20/01 another hour and half for the same clients line and still no resolution.

Telkom != Adequate Capacity Planning

'nuff said.

Plus, I get the suspicion that because the staff know you're not paying to hold on for your call - about the only positive part of the experience - they seriously aren't in a rush to assist.

residential or business line?
 
I've had to phone them twice in the last week. On Monday I waited for an hour and 10 minutes before having my call answered, and yesterday was somewhat better at "only" 25 minutes.
 
Telkom has one of the worst service experience ever. They make you wait on hold forever.

Wife actually had to go in and wait in a long line just to get help. They give you inconsistent information and service. One person says it takes a week to install a line, call centre says 2 and then the store again says 3.
