Hi All,

Telkoms' launched the 3G lot in the papers, I haven't seen on here yet, guess it's time for a telkom 3g group?

500MB R149
1GB R219

no connection fee until november... <edit> forgot, out of bundle rate is 30c/mb accros the board, worse than neotel but better than the rest and I'm willing to bet that 7.2 is available on the telkom back-haul

only Gauteng.

Link doesn't work....

But at those prices, I'd rather stay with VC since they have a proven HSDPA network, and experience in the cellular space whereas Telscum don't.
 
Point still stands regarding pricing....

VC is not considerably more expensive that the Telkom pricing.
The Telkom pricing does not include the cost of the Modem... and their service does NOT support softcell handover, therefore you can't do anything on the move as their advert suggest.

If I wanted 3G it would be for the mobility, therefore Telkom's service fails on one of 3G's biggest advantages, and for a Fixed 3g Service.. I would be prepared to be comparable ADSL pricing, no more...

The lil child in me is chanting "Telkom FAIL!" at me at this point in time...
