Telkom impossible to stream

Since about 1 week ago performance for especially Netflix on Home Unlimited 20mbps has been horrendous. Either the quality of the image is super low or it stops and buffers at random intervals? Had some problems with DSTV Now aswell but non so far with Youtube.

Other services seem to perform perfectly fine and most Speed tests show close to 20mbps.
 
It’s been fine for me.
 
It appears to be a pattern where it works really well except between 16:00-22:00.
Note that it is over Fibre.
 
Also had terrible image quality and speeds last night from 7 to 9pm on Showmax (fibre).
 
My Netflix on Home Unlimited has not been the best the last 2 weeks. Sometimes it sits on 240p or 480p even though setup is 4K capable. Shut app and restarted 3 times & router with no luck. Went to bed instead :sneaky:

Had EXACTLY the same over the weekend. Was trying to watch DC Titans on a 40Mbps Telkom uncapped fibre account. Quality is bad and show would randomly stop and buffer. Doing a speedtest while this occured showed 38Mbps+
 
Mine is still ****. I've only used about 300GB for the month, so can't be FUP related. Anyone log an issue with Telkom?
 
Noticed Telkants throttling me to 1.2mb/s on UK streaming sites on my 40meg VDSL line.
I use a vpn to stream everything when the buffering starts.

Paying over 1k for a pathetic service is disgraceful
 
Thanks - I'll configure VPN on my router again and give it a shot.
 
So I had an online support chat with Telkom technical support and the support person recreated my port. Low and behold my Netflix streaming worked flawless last night.
