Telkom infrastructure - need some answers

Hi all,

After having had Telkom ADSL in one of our previous houses (same estate area as we are currently in), to not having any Telkom infrastructure now, I am looking for a contact at Telkom that can tell me why there is no infrastructure, and if it was stopped by someone (which I already think I know is the case), I want to take company X on about it.

Does anyone have any idea who I can talk to at Telkom about this?

I would start my contacting the Property Development Connect section within Telkom (0860 10 13 12).

If you live in an estate the infrastructure within the estate is not telkoms problem. Developers are supposed to provide the infrastructure when they build the place but many simply don't bother.

Yes, I know ... but that is why I need to understand where the "block" came in ... Telkom infrastructure is in two of the three estates, so I want to know who from the development side made that decision
 
Had adsl 3 yrs back, cancelled after it became too expensive and slow.

Trying to signup again, staying in the same place, telkom tell me there's no infrastructure available I can't even get a telephone line?

Telkom lost my first application in October, the person I spoke to then said that I could get adsl 4MB etc and that there was a port available for me.
Weeks later heard nothing from them, contacted them again and had to reapply as there was NO record I applied for adsl, now I get told no infrastructure, seems like ploy just to get rid of me or not?

Any telkom rep on forum that could check for me.
