My sister has TI ADSL with a TI data account. Still worked last night but not this morning. Logging on to TI usage tracking tool displays: "The account is currently suspended." Spoke to very aggressive operator at TI accounts that informed me that an undisclosed number of TI users has not been billed for the data portion due to a technical error. He said they can't contact all the customers, there's too many of them, so they wait for your account to be suspended and the subsequent call in order to create a new account
Better check your account to see if you were billed!
You can take Telkom out of the Post Office, but you can't take the Post Office out of Telkom![]()
